DeBoer's store
DeBoer's Furniture has been established in Canada since 1950. Jan de Boer and his sons operated a store on a ship in Holland, traveling from town to town selling housewares and small home furnishings. In the 1930’s they decided to open their first on-land store in the town of Hoogeveen. This first ‘Jan de Boer’ store still operates in the same building today.
